Braddock Road Brass Band

Graham Breedlove

Ensemble Director: Prof. Graham Breedlove

Founded and directed by Louisiana native Graham Breedlove (Jazz Trumpet faculty), the Braddock Road Brass Band is a new addition to the Mason Jazz family. Performing a wide variety of New Orleans and Louisiana music, BRBB is modeled after the classic New Orleans brass bands such as Rebirth Brass Band, Dirty Dozen Brass Band and The Soul Rebels Brass Band. In addition, the group plays original compositions and its own arrangements of music from both inside and outside the jazz tradition. BRBB’s music comes from a wide range of influences and most importantly, just like a day in the Big Easy, is always fun!
