We are pleased to announce that our music department has now officially been approved as
the George Mason University School of Music.

The State Council of Higher Education for
Virginia
has approved the following degrees
at the Council's July 2009 meeting:
Doctor of Musical Arts
PhD in Music Education
We are awaiting review by the National
Association of Schools of Music.
George Mason University
is a registered
All-Steinway School.
