Minne Zhang, a native of China, completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education degree at the Shandong Normal University, China. Minne graduated from Temple University (4.0 GPA) with a Master Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. She is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at George Mason University in the piano studio of Dr. Linda Apple Monson. During her graduate studies, she was chosen as a prize-winner in the Pi Kappa Lambda Piano Competition. She also was selected to perform as a solo pianist in Mason’s School of Music 2018 Honors Recital, the Mason Grand Piano Celebrations 2017 and 2018, and Arts by George 2017-18. In addition, she performed a solo piano world premiere last spring at Mason. Minnie is currently teaching several sections of keyboard skills as a graduate lecturer at George Mason University.
