Lora R. Ferguson

Lora R. Ferguson received a Bachelor of Music degree from Oberlin and a Master of Music degree from Catholic University. In 1980 Ms. Ferguson became the assistant principal clarinetist of the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra, which performs for all Washington National Opera productions as well as the Kennedy Center ballet and musical theater programs. She has been the clarinetist with the Capitol Woodwind Quintet since 1978, appearing in concert several times a year.
Ms. Ferguson also performs with chamber ensembles on various concert series throughout the Washington area. She is on the faculty at George Mason University, George Washington University, and the Arlington and Upton Street campuses of the Levine School of Music.
