  • Jeremy Freer

    Green Machine Associate Director and Music Technology/Theory, Dewberry School of Music, CVPA

    Professor Jeremy Freer is Associate Director of Green Machine Ensembles and works closely with Dr. Glenn Smith with the Music and Wellness program. He has taught Music in Motion Pictures, Popular Music Arranging, Jazz History, and Brass Techniques for the School of Music and teaches student arrangers, acoustic groups, photobombing techniques, and rock bands for the nationally acclaimed Green Machine.
  • Robert Gillam

    Dr. Gillam is an active educator, having taught at several higher-education institutions across the United States. His primary areas of interest are in music technology, composition, sound design, commercial music and music for media.
  • Jesse Guessford

    Founding Director of MUSIC TECHNOLOGY and COMPOSITION, Dewberry School of Music, CVPA

    Jesse Guessford received a BS in music education from West Chester University, a Master of Music in music composition from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, and a DMA in music composition from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

    John C.L. Jansen is an active composer, multi-instrumentalist, luthier, author, recording engineer, and teacher of music technology and music theory, based in Takoma Park, Maryland.
  • Nicolas Laget

    Adjunct Faculty, MUSIC TECHNOLOGY, Dewberry School of Music, CVPA

    Nicolas Laget is a performer and composer in the Washingon, D.C. area. His early years were spent singing in choirs and playing Baroque chamber music on the recorder. In his teens, Nico expanded his musical horizons by studying the flute, the tenor saxophone and the keyboard.

    Prof. Thomas E. Tyra holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Technology and an Engineering emphasis with a minor in Audio Production from George Mason University. He also holds a Master of Arts in Audio Sciences with a concentration in Recording and Production from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University.
