Horn Day 2021
The Dewberry School of Music is pleased to offer Horn Day in-person this year! We invite the Horn community to campus on Sunday, November 7th from 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM.
BRING YOUR HORN TO PLAY! The event is FREE but space is limited so register early. Instrument masks are required and COVID safety protocols will be in place. Please view Mason’s COVID safety plan for visitors here.

7:30 – Registration
8:00 – Welcome and Concert – The Green Hornists Quartet
8:20 – Warm-up & Rehearsal – Massed Horn Choir, Sylvia Alimena, Conductor, Brass of Peace, National Symphony Hornist, Ret.
9:30 Concert – Capital Horns of the Washington Conservatory of Music – Carl Jeff Bianchi, Director, Distinguished Educator
10:00 Recital – MSgt Hilary Harding, Principal Horn, “The President’s Own” U.S. Marine Band
11:00 Masterclass – MSgt Harding and Audition Winners
12:00 Concert – Mass Horn Choir on the Plaza – Sylvia Alimena & Horn Day Attendees
1:00 Hunting Calls and Beagles on the Plaza – Alasdair Storer, Huntsman and Master of Middletown Valley Beagles
