Here at Charleston International Music Competition, we would love to invite your students to participate in our global online 2021 Spring Music Competition. We are accepting video recordings completely for FREE, and your students simply need to submit a performance of a music piece or movement from a composer born in the spring month of March, April, or May (including but not limited to Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, and Vivaldi) by filling out the Solo Spring Application Form in order to be considered for the final round. Please note that ensembles have slightly different steps, the details of which can be found here.

Applicants approved by our judges to advance to the final round will receive an email invitation with further instructions on how to apply to the final round. With multiple prizes available, our judges will select winners, who along with their music teachers, will receive personalized diplomas, their portrait photo and music biography will be published on the results page of our website, and their performance will be shared on our YouTube channel: Charleston International Music Competition. All finalists will also be eligible for the May 2021 Performer of the Month $100 Prize.

We are currently accepting applications up until April 15 and plan to announce results by May 10. If your students need more time to practice, we would encourage them to apply to our 2021 Talent Show Competition by May 15 instead. Singers and instrumentalists of all ages and nationalities, including pianists, string and wind instrumentalists, percussionists, and ensembles, are encouraged to apply, especially young children who may not have much experience but are enthusiastic about sharing their musical abilities. We sincerely hope you will let your students know about this opportunity, and please don’t hesitate to ask us any questions or learn more about us.
