Performance Opportunities: Summer Programs Summer performance programs are offered through the Potomac Music Academy at George Mason University. Programs include:
- Chamber Music Connection, for advanced string players from the middle school through collegiate level
- International Euphonium and Tuba Competition, for solo musicians and quartets from the student through virtuoso level
- Woodwind Camp, for beginners through advanced wind players
- Choral Conductors Institute, for conductors wishing to learn new stylistic and expressive techniques
- Summer Symphonic Honor Bands, featuring separate ensembles of advanced high school musicians and rising high school freshmen
- Piano Pedagogy Seminar, for piano teachers and college students seeking specialized training in piano pedagogy
- Jazz Connection, featuring masterclasses, jam sessions, a big band and smaller combos for all ages and levels of serious jazz musicians
