Performance Opportunities:

Chamber Orchestra
Directed by: Dr. Dennis Layendecker

This smaller orchestra is comprised of outstanding string players from throughout the university. The ensemble performs works from the standard string orchestra repertoire. Winds and percussion are welcome to participate depending on the instrumentation required in the musical score. The orchestra maintains an active performance schedule that includes the main orchestra concerts, opera orchestra productions, as well as regularly scheduled concerts within the local community. The orchestra has also presented performances at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.
