"In Performance @ Mason"

Mason Music is proud to introduce this summer series of performances on Vimeo

If you were unable to join us at the concert noted above, the Mason Symphony Orchestra (MSO) at our beautiful Hylton Performing Arts Center ... you missed a great event!

However, through our cooperative efforts with Mason Film and Video Studies, we are able to present a wonderful video recording of that concert, as well as several other events that we recorded throughout this past academic year.

Hence we introduce "In Performance @ Mason", a series of video releases that we will distribute this summer.  While our students take a well-deserved respite from their studies, we will be editing and posting the videos of their performances on our web site and through the "Music @ Mason" weekly newsletters.

And so, we begin ... with the MSO performance of Piano Concerto #3 in A minor, Op. 16. by Edvard Grieg, featuring Doctoral candidate Yoonji Kim, a student of Dr. Linda Apple Monson.

"Enjoy!"
