Adopt a Young Artist and. . .

. . .Foster a special relationship with a music student!

The Friends of Music at Mason, a volunteer organization that raises funds to support School of Music programs and to provide scholarships for deserving students at George Mason University, has developed an initiative to assist students annually from the time of the scholarship until graduation.

A Friend of Music at Mason member who donates the funds (i.e., adopter) provides the selected student an annual

scholarship of $1,000 or more.

The program's goal, in addition to the financial assistance, is to create a lasting personal bond between

the artist and the adopters.

Adopter Benefits:

1. Receive complimentary tickets to all School of Music performances.

2. Be listed in all programs with their adoptees and receive additional recognition.

3. Receive invitations to special events recognizing AYA student

participants and their adopters.

4. Participate in the life of and support of a musician.
