Into the Woods draws together the stories and characters of Grimm’s fairy tales to weave a tapestry of poignant lessons and beautiful melodies, bringing new meaning to the stories we tell our children. While everyone’s wish is granted at the end of Act One, the consequences of their actions return to haunt them in Act II, and what begins as a lively, irreverent fantasy becomes a complex and moving allegory for personal responsibility and the most valuable moments of our lives.
