The Friends of Music is an organization dedicated to providing financial and volunteer support to the School of Music so that it may fulfill its academic goals and programmatic aspirations.

Friends of Music provides student scholarship funding and give their time to assist the School of Music in its student and faculty recitals and concerts on campus. Friends also facilitate and often host home-based musicales to introduce others to the outstanding musical artistry of our students and faculty. One of our most important roles is to be Mason Music Ambassadors by encouraging others to attend School of Music activities and welcoming new students to the School of Music.
Board Member Juliana Kuo prepares to mail the invitations for the School of Music Scholarship Benefit Concert, May 8, 2011. This is the major fund-raising event of the year; the proceeds from this event comprise a large portion of the scholarship funds made available by the Friends of Music for Mason Music students. Please join us!
We invite you to share in the common vision that produces uncommon results for every Mason Music student. Join us on our continuous quest for musical enjoyment and educational excellence by becoming a Friend of Music. For additional information about membership, please contact Kate Leeds-Brody via phone (703-993-4749).
